Summer is Coming/WIP Summer Granny Blanket

Today was such a beautiful day!

It was sunny and warm. I could smell the grass and feel the sun on my face. It looks like summer is coming!
I went for a walk and there were people all over, lounging, running, playing sports, and walking. I wasn't the only one looking to take advantage of the warmth and sun.

I took my yarn bag with me and shot some photos of another current WIP of mine.

I am making a blanket using the Summer Garden Granny Square made by Lucy of Attic24. I absolutely love the look of colorful granny squares trimmed in white. It's so refreshing.

I didn't like granny squares so much before. Something happened after coming across so many granny square photos on the internet. I fell in love. Now I shout it from the rooftops...

I LOVE GRANNY SQUARES!

I love them too much, perhaps.

There is nothing quite like delicious yarn and a warm, sunny day. I want to spend a lot of time crocheting outdoors this summer. I can't wait!
